{ Michele Lorito-Chase }

A collection of my favorite visual experiences.

It really doesn’t have to be as difficult as everyone seems to make it and is actually pretty simple. Be honorable, be loyal, be honest, love yourself, love unconditionally, be kind-hearted, be a teacher, be a student, have lots of fun and laugh often.

coreygrusden:

Don’t get stuck wondering what happened

  • Again, have a partner you can trust
  • Realize it’s going to be years before everything runs smoothly, maybe.

(Lombard St., San Francisco)

Goals to focus on, to focus

Off-the-Grid

coreygrusden:

For this week only

  1. Turning off all notifications from Twitter or Facebook, no interruptions
  2. Check Twitter and Facebook at 10am and 4pm, no more than 5min each time
  3. All reading of fun, time wasting stories about startups on HackerNews, 10am & 4pm

coreygrusden:

Fake it till you make it

  • Act bigger than you are
  • Perception is everything in the beginning

(Ghostbuster’s night @ Lazlos, The Mission)

Beautiful photograph - The Stairs are the Road

coreygrusden:

We take common things for granted

  • Dont miss out on opportunities simply because they’re different than normal
  • It’ll look intimidating, but you can be one of the few to follow it

(Pemberton St.. yes, the stairs are the road, San Francisco)

coreygrusden:

It’s OK if you’re the only one at first

  • Soon people will catch on to what you’re doing
  • They’ll want to interact with you, maybe even help your cause

(San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Bryant St)

coreygrusden:

Love unconditionally

  • You’re heart will beat
  • You will not want to do it
  • You’ll want to give up

Don’t

Inspired by this post I just read today (http://penmachine-bu.appspot.com/www.penmachine.com/2011/05/the-last-post)

(Between 19th & 20th, Valencia St)

coreygrusden:

Too many signals create confusion

  • Be very clear
  • Be honest
  • Have 1 goal at a time

(Inner Sunset, San Francisco)

coreygrusden:

Sometimes its nice to not think about anything

Actually, it should be required daily.

Have the right people on your team so you don’t have to drive it.
